“Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory.” – George S. Patton
Is your faith battle-ready? It’s one thing to profess a strong faith in God when all is easy and comfortable. God will often allow the young believer a time of growth and learning before he is tested in battle. We don’t send little children off to war, and the young men we do send are trained so that they are battle-ready. Navy Seals train past physical and psychological exhaustion, to the point that the warrior feels like he is going to die. Consequently, he is ready for anything on the battlefield. He is, beyond any other warrior on earth, battle-ready.
The battle is coming. It may already be upon you. What are you doing to get ready? What are you doing to train your children for the battles coming their way?
